History

Born in 2020, in the middle of a global pandemic, at the hands of Ben Ward, Kaliedy is the first baby and nursery digital-only retailer. Kaliedy spun out of Mothercare Ireland and brings over 95 years of experience in the baby industry while offering its customers a simplified shopping experience, customised to fulfil all their needs.

Challenge

Since their launch on the Kooomo eCommerce platform, Kaliedy's aim was to shape a path into the Irish modern baby-oriented industry. Having ambitions to scale internationally, Kaliedy desired to have the ability to accept International payments without any complications. A key part of an eCommerce strategy is the International payments options, which have the potential to upgrade the checkout process and improve conversion rates.
