The Irish online business catering for the modern family proves triumphant following launch with eCommerce platform Kooomo
Kaliedy, the latest Irish online baby nursery and toy business boasted a 127% increase in transactions and 162% increase in revenue from its initial three months to the second three months following the launch of its website with global eCommerce platform Kooomo.

Kaliedy identified the necessity to operate with speed and convenience online, and in 2020, joined forces with Kooomo in order to ensure an optimised user experience was provided, from browsing products right through to checkout.

When launching, Kaliedy’s aim was to overcome the ‘see before you buy’ approach to shopping and it, therefore, chose to work with Kooomo and Adyen in order to ensure an optimised user experience was provided, from browsing products right through to checkout.
To counteract that lack of physical presence, Kaliedy needed an agile customer service portal. This includes a Zendesk system integrated into the website which funnels all customer service queries with WhatsApp messages included – which has generated a positive response in its audiences. People who have product queries or delivery queries are getting an immediate response which helps combat the lack of a store infrastructure.
Kooomo’s seamless connection to Adyen makes adding new payment methods a breeze. In addition to cards, Kaliedy now supports Paypal, Apple Pay, and Google pay.
The CMS allowed Kaliedy to inject as much context into its products as possible, meaning parents could shop confidently and return again and again. Despite the pandemic, logistics were managed carefully within the platform - with a successful next-day delivery promise in Ireland maintained.
