The job
Your knowledge of e-commerce combined with your communication skills and analytical
abilities shapes how new and existing business grows. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you will have to provide to Kooomo’s client an excellent service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, understand the details of client’s business and persistently explore
and uncover the business needs of your key clients. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how to increase their online turnover.
  • Manage trusted relationships with clients and develop a thorough understanding of their business challenges.
  • Leverage a strategic partnership approach to add value to our clients' business and help drive online sales across multiple verticals.
  • Responsible for renewing the business.
  • Persuade clients of the wider strategic opportunities in the ecommerce world, making sure to guide them through the account development cycle.
  • Improve clients' online performance and their return on investment.
Minimum qualifications
  • BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience).
  • 3 years+ relevant experience in consultative sales and account management.
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, and capable of seeking additional selling opportunities.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, plan, and organize the account cycle mactivity.
  • Native-level fluency in English.

Purpose of the role
  • To lead and nurture the client services team to provide the very highest levels of client servicing.
  • To provide strategic guidance and support to clients to help drive revenue growh.
  • To help identify and convert new business opportunities for added value services that include Marketing, consultancy, store management, solution development and more.
  • To lead and manage the client servicing team that is growing fast and needs to scale.
  • To own a revenue target for upselling services to existing and new clients.
  • Regular fortnightly reporting, resource planning (to assign appropriate team members to projects, to resolve issues), appraisals and personal development of the client servicing team (setting and reviewing targets, contributing to remuneration conversations), recruitment of new team members.
  • To lead the process to write and execute client development plans for Key Client Relationships (to deliver revenue targets by client).
  • To develop best practice in client servicing and to run regular sessions with the client servicing team to share knowledge and experience.
  • To personally lead one or two Key Client Relationships.
  • To seek and develop client development opportunities.
  • To contribute to the process to win new business as a partner to the sale team.
Required skills and experience
As Client Services Director you will be expected to demonstrate a range of skills and experience. Ultimately you will be responsible for the guidance and development of your team so it is essential you are a great communicator, able to inspire your team and spot potential. Man (or woman) management skills are a must!

You must have a proven track record in growing a team/accounts, and winning new business/pitches. You must have an understanding of digital advertising/marketing. Your strategic ability and insight of your clients must be second to none. At the end of the day your client is your business and you must know everything about them inside and out to enable you to solve the issue at hand and increase your client’s revenue. Oh and did I mention man management?!
Required work experience
8+ years of relevant work experience.
