PCI Compliance

What is PCI?

Any merchant that accepts credit cards as a form of payment is required by law to comply with PCI (Payment Card Industry) security standards that are administered by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council.
The onus of PCI-compliance is on merchants and involves determining the amount of security required for your store, and then ensuring that your hosting provider meets those specific levels.  Most payment gateways require a PCI compliance scan to be performed on your website before transactions can securely take place. PCI compliance is not standardised on all eCommerce platforms.

All Kooomo stores are PCI compliant as standard.  The Kooomo eCommerce platform has built-in payment gateways that allow payment data to be transferred in a secure way, fulfilling all PCI requirements.
