DUBLIN - March 11, 2019 - Kooomo, a leading European digital commerce platform, today announced that they have increased its customer base and entered the Spanish-speaking ecommerce marketplace due to the acquisition of InsiteOut, an award-winning digital agency based in Barcelona, by Zerogrey, a sister company to Kooomo. As part of this agreement, Kooomo will acquire a host of Worldwide customers including the MotoGP™ Store, the merchandising of the premier motorcycle racing World Championship.
“As part of our group growth strategy, this is our first acquisition to help expand our operations around the world,” said Ciaran Bollard, CEO Kooomo. “The company grew it’s revenues in 2018, with our customers growing 25% on average for the same period. The acquisition gives us access to some key international customers like MotoGP™ Store and helps us expand into the Spanish market, which is expected to reach 27.27 billion USD by 2022, and the growing worldwide Hispanic territories.”
Kooomo has initiated this relationship by working to move MotoGP™ Store to the Kooomo digital commerce platform, which will power its online store across multiple channels. This 2-month migration project is scheduled to go live in March 2019.

The InsiteOut agency team will become full-time employees of Zerogrey but will continue operating under their current name. The team will also remain in their Barcelona headquarters.
