Pezzol, the Italian, workboot maker has launched its brand-new eCommerce site Pezzol 1951, having selected global eCommerce platform provider Kooomo
, enabling it to sell fashionable footwear direct to consumers online for the first time in its history.
Pezzol is traditionally a men’s shoemaker that has been dedicated to creating craft and quality shoes for the working class for over 70 years. With true technical elements to each pair, Pezzol 1951 designs are inspired by those working through oil rigs, uneasy elements and beyond. Today, the brand has brought its knowledge of designing industrial footwear to a street style collection, enabling its customers to work safely in their ‘urban jungles’.
Having only previously sold its footwear online via marketplaces, Pezzol took the decision to launch its own direct to consumer site for increased user experience.

Kooomo set up the Pezzol platform, along with frontend support and incorporated key features for building on customer experience, launching it in January 2021. This includes a ‘dream bag’ feature which enables users to leave their email address to be updated about the status and restock of out of stock products. Additionally, they set up a newsletter feature in order to regularly engage with its customer base.
