New site’s technology integrations break down the barriers between online and offline by creating a seamless and satisfying international shopping experience
, the glamourous Italian fashion brand known for its elegant women’s clothing and accessories has launched its new online store in Italy with global eCommerce platform Kooomo
and support from its sister company, ZeroGrey
. The company’s old website was redesigned into an eCommerce site with advanced payment and language options, improved user interface and social media integrations for an exceptional User Experience (UX).
Kocca was founded in the mid-nineties and is renowned throughout Italy for its desirable collections of high-quality women’s clothing and handbags. The company was looking to modernise its website into a fully functioning eCommerce site that would strengthen its social community and provide visitors across Europe with a shopping experience that goes beyond the simple act of purchasing. It turned to ZeroGrey to design, launch and manage its online presence using Kooomo’s eCommerce experience and innovative platform.
Online purchases in Italy have been experiencing massive growth as a result of the coronavirus restrictions and Kocca was keen to respond to this demand by establishing a site that could build lasting relationships with customers, both nationally and internationally. Kooomo worked closely with ZeroGrey over a two-and-a-half-month period to ensure the site features the latest SEO optimisations and is compatible with a variety of logistics, payment integrations and automated customer care features.
One of Kocca’s primary objectives was to increase international expansion and revenue growth across Europe and the new site now features multilingual language translation options to support this requirement. The UX was designed using a linear, modern layout that welcomes any new visitor into a world of stylish Italian fashion and includes images from the Autumn and Winter 2020-2021 campaign to reflect the colours and moods of the current season.
Built on Kooomo’s powerful SaaS eCommerce platform, the site now works as an attractive and intuitive home page where customers can discover new collections and read the latest company news. A separate section has also been created to feature best-selling items which customers can purchase through the site. For a seamless UX, a virtual area of the pre footer has been included to promote Kocca’s Instagram posts, which redirects users to the brand's social account so they can copy the trendy look by purchasing items from the photos.
