The Brief
With competition amongst online retailers becoming fierce, eCommerce businesses need to ensure their online stores are future-proofed. Magento announced the end of support for Magento 1 also known as Magento Enterprise last year and with the end of life date quickly approaching, brands like Fabi Boutique have been looking at their options.
Fabi Boutique decided to migrate its store across to the Kooomo platform while also giving the front-end a facelift. The Solution
Having decided to make the switch from Magento to the Kooomo platform, the entire migration took 12 weeks from start to finish. All existing data was migrated across to the Kooomo platform, the new and improved Fabi Boutique store was up and running and the business was seeing an increase in conversions within a matter of days of going live.
The Results
Since re-platforming to Kooomo, online sales have consistently continued to soar. A total sales increase of 150% was seen in the second half of the year when compared to the first half.
